Rubberised Hair Sheets are 100% Animal Hair bonded with Natural Latex. The hair normally used, is our standard 80/20 hair mix. Rubberised Hair Sheets are a resilient filling material used in high quality furniture and upholstery, as well as in the production of better quality beds. Rubberised Hair has many other applications, including use in Filtration Units and as a Packaging Material.
Standard Sizes 183 x 92 x 2.5 cm ( 6ft x 3 ft x 1in ) 183 x 92 x 5 cm ( 6ft x 3 ft x 2in ) The material can be laminated to any thickness required, normally in 2.5 cm increments. Alternative sizes are also available to special order.
Standard Density 40/45 kg per cubic metre. Also available in 48, 64 and 96 kg per cubic metre. Other densities are available up to 200 kg per cubic metre.
Rubberised Haircolok Sheets are a mix of Animal Hair and Coir fibre (coconut husk) bonded with Natural Latex.

The applications for the Rubberised Hair and Coir Sheets are similar to those of the above, but it would normally be used where a cost reduction is required.
Rubberised Cocolok Sheets are 100% Coir fibre (coconut husk) that is bonded with Natural Latex.
Rubberised Coir Fibre Sheets are normally used as a filling material in futons or cot mattresses.
Please note: when Cocolok is used as a filling in cot mattresses, it would not normally be treated with fire retardant chemicals.

3mm thick Cocolok is also available for use as a heavy density liner.
